The Fashion Brands That Trust Topumbrella to Make Their Umbrellas
A Fashion Brand's Umbrella Has to Earn Its Place in the Range
For a fashion brand, an umbrella is a seasonal accessory — not a promotional giveaway. It sits next to the rest of the range, carries the season's colour palette, and is judged by the same customer who buys everything else the brand makes. The colour has to be right. The print has to be faithful to the artwork. The construction has to match what the label's customers expect. That is a different brief from a bulk corporate order.
Topumbrella has built custom umbrella programs for fashion retailers across Europe, the UK, and Australia — working directly with buying teams on everything from initial print development to retail compliance documentation. Below is a look at six of those partnerships.

Six Fashion Brand Umbrella Programs
Adolfo Domínguez
Spain · Premium Fashion · Est. 1950
The Spanish fashion house founded in 1950 is known for rigorous minimalism — a design language that leaves no room for imprecision in any product bearing the name. Their umbrella brief called for clean colour matching against a tight Pantone reference, restrained branding placement, and a handle and sleeve specification consistent with their accessories line. We delivered the production and the Spanish market compliance documentation together as a single package.
agnès b.
France · Parisian Lifestyle Fashion
One of the most recognised names in Parisian lifestyle fashion, with a distinctive graphic sensibility carried across clothing, stationery, and accessories. The agnès b. umbrella needed to sit naturally within that identity. The brief involved panel print registration, a canopy colour developed to sit within the seasonal palette, and branding elements coordinated closely with their design team through our pre-production approval process.
Joules
United Kingdom · Lifestyle & Outdoor Fashion
Joules built its following on a print-led aesthetic rooted in British countryside life — and in the UK, a well-made print umbrella is one of the most natural product extensions a lifestyle brand can offer. We produced their canopy with full-panel print registration across all eight sections, matched to the season's colour palette, with REACH, PFAS-free, and BSCI documentation supplied for their retail buyers.
Little Bird
United Kingdom · Children's Fashion
Children's umbrella programs carry an additional compliance layer: a child-appealing design brings EN 71 toy standard obligations, including spoke-tip safety testing and CE/UKCA marking. Topumbrella has established EN 71 testing protocols through SGS and supplies the test report and Declaration of Conformity alongside the finished product. For Little Bird, we combined the playful print energy the brand is known for with the safety documentation their UK retail buyers require.
Sociedad Textil Loni
Spain · Multi-Brand Fashion Group
The Spanish fashion group behind Pull&Bear and other multi-channel brands distributed across Europe and Latin America. Working at this scale means running programmes across several brand identities simultaneously, each with its own canopy, handle, and packaging specification, while sharing a common production and compliance infrastructure. We structured the programme to accommodate this — a consolidated EU compliance pack applied across the full run.
Gorman
Australia · Designer Fashion
One of Australia's most recognisable designer fashion brands — bold prints, high-saturation colour, and an aesthetic built on art and creative collaboration. Reproducing that on an umbrella canopy requires digital sublimation with precise colour management: the ink density of Gorman's signature prints has to survive the move from screen to fabric without washing out. The brief also included custom handle and sleeve specifications so the finished umbrella reads as a coherent accessory.
What a Fashion-Grade Umbrella Program Requires
Colour Accuracy
Fashion brand colour systems are precise. We work from Pantone references or physical colour standards and produce lab dip samples for approval before bulk dyeing begins. Colorimeter measurement verifies ΔE tolerance against the approved standard. For print programmes, strike-off samples are approved panel by panel before full canopy printing proceeds.
Print Capability
Full-canopy, panel-matched, and spot-placement prints are all within scope. We use digital sublimation for full-colour photographic and gradient artwork on polyester fabrics, heat transfer for precise small-area placements, and screen printing for simpler one- to four-colour designs at higher volumes. The right method depends on the artwork, fabric, and order size — our pre-production team advises as part of the brief review.
Compliance Documentation
Every programme is delivered with a compliance pack: REACH declaration, PFAS-free (C0 DWR) certification via SGS, BSCI audit report, SEDEX registration, and ISO9001 certificate. For children's umbrellas entering UK or EU markets, we additionally supply EN 71-1 test reports (via SGS) and a Declaration of Conformity supporting CE or UKCA marking. MOQ from 500 pcs per style.
